Vaishali Travels

We’ve been here in Vadodara for quite a while now. Running Vaishali Travels keeps us pretty busy every single day. Most of the time, it's just about getting people from one place to another without too much fuss or extra trouble. We started out with just a couple of older vehicles and a lot of paper maps. Things have changed with GPS and all that technology, but the roads are still the same old roads we know by heart. We handle a lot of local trips around the city and sometimes longer ones if someone needs to get out of town for a wedding or a big family thing. It's not a fancy office or anything like that, just a simple desk and some chairs where we sit and figure out the schedules. Sometimes the traffic gets really bad and we have to call the drivers on their mobile phones to see where they are. That's just how it goes here in the heat. We know all the shortcuts and which times are best to avoid the main junctions during rush hour. People come by the office, ask about the rates, and we try to give them a fair number that works for everyone. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and checking the keys at the end of the shift. My nephew helps out with the bookings sometimes when it gets crowded. We don't really have a big website, just this spot in Vadodara where people know they can find us.
