Our little office is on the first floor of Sai Kruti Complex, right near Harinagar Char Rasta. If you know Gotri Road, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people heading to work. We’ve been here for a while, mostly helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s usually just us sitting at the desks, looking at bus schedules or flight prices on the computer. People walk in with all sorts of questions about where they should go for their holidays. We try to give them the honest facts about what’s available. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We deal with a lot of paperwork, visas, and booking confirmations. It’s a lot of detail work that people don't always see. We have some maps pinned to the walls and a few old calendars. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a practical place to get your tickets sorted. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, but everyone finds us eventually. We know the neighborhood well and have seen it change over the years. We just focus on getting the bookings right so folks don't have trouble when they finally leave for their trips. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even if it gets repetitive sometimes. We just stay at it until the sun goes down and then head home ourselves.
