Our shop, V Mobile, is at D-2 in Fatepura. It’s a small corner spot that we’ve been in for some time. We do a lot of mobile recharges and sell secondhand phones when we have them in stock. Most of the time, people come in because they have a question about their data plan or their phone isn't charging right. We have a small glass counter that’s seen better days, but it holds our stock of cables and screen guards just fine. Fatepura is a busy area, so there’s always people walking past the door throughout the day. We keep the door open to let some air in, though it brings in the dust and noise from the street. We’ve been here for a few years now. It’s just a one-room setup. I usually sit behind the counter and my brother handles the more difficult repairs when he’s around. We don't have any big corporate backing or fancy slogans. We just try to help people get their phones working again so they can go about their day without trouble. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of charging cable and have to tell people to come back tomorrow once the new stock arrives. It’s not perfect, but we do our best for the locals. We know most of the shopkeepers on this block. We usually close up around eight and head home. It’s a local business, nothing more than that.
