Astha Communication

You can find us over on Ajwa Road under the name Astha Communication. We have been running this shop for quite some time now. It’s a busy road, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the buses going by. We mostly deal with mobile recharges, new sim cards, and some basic repairs. The shop isn't very fancy, just some wooden shelves and a glass counter where we keep the handsets. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait for their phones to be fixed. Usually, the radio is playing in the background. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city, just a reliable place for the people living around Ajwa Road. Sometimes we run out of a specific charger and have to tell people to come back tomorrow once the delivery arrives. It’s a small business, so we handle everything ourselves from cleaning to accounting. We like the area because everything is close by. We’ve seen many shops come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s just honest work, helping people stay connected with their families. We don't have much to complain about, it’s a good enough life here at the shop. The local tea stall delivers to us twice a day which is the highlight of our afternoon.
