We set up Sargam Mobile over in the Gandhinagar area of Vadodara, near section 12. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center. I’ve been working with phones for a long time. It started as a hobby and then became a job. The shop is small, and the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling, but it doesn't bother anyone. We spend our days looking at screens and trying to figure out why they won't turn on. A lot of folks from the nearby houses come by. They usually want a new screen guard or a memory card. We have a small desk in the back where the soldering iron stays hot most of the afternoon. It gets warm in here during the summer months. I usually have a fan going, but it makes a lot of noise. My nephew helps out on weekends when he’s not at school. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around. We just want to stay open and help people get their tech working again. It’s funny how much people rely on these little boxes now. If you’re walking down the road, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. We keep a stock of basic chargers too. Nothing too complicated. Just a local shop run by local people. The neighborhood has grown quite a bit lately. There are more shops opening up down the road, but we stay pretty steady. I like the morning time best when it’s still cool.
