Utility Engineer

Our office is A-29 in the Kashivishveshwar Township. It is a quiet enough area off Jetalpur Road, which is nice because it is not as chaotic as the main city center usually is. We spend a lot of our time looking at plans and dealing with engineering stuff on our computers. It is a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we know how each other works without having to say too much to one another. The township itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We get people calling for directions all the time once they hit Jetalpur Road and realize they are lost. Inside the office, we have a lot of files piled up on the shelves. We really should get around to digitizing more of it, but there never seems to be enough time in the day for that. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the whole room. We take our lunches together usually, just sitting around the main table talking. It is a practical way to run things. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It keeps things simple. We deal with various projects and try to keep our heads down and get the work finished. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but mostly we try to head home at a decent hour.
