Shivam Sundaram Engitech is based in the GIDC area at plot 299/b/2. If you have ever walked through a large industrial estate, you know exactly what it feels like here. There is always the sound of someone grinding metal or a truck backing up somewhere nearby. We do engineering work, mostly focused on technical parts and setups for other local businesses. It’s a dusty place sometimes, especially when the wind picks up off the road, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the machines without needing much instruction anymore. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny office chairs because that doesn’t help us get the job done any faster. We spend our time looking at blueprints and making sure the dimensions are right. It’s basic, honest work. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit in the afternoon, but we just wait it out and get back to it once it's on. Our address is easy to find if you know the GIDC layout, though the numbering can be a bit confusing for strangers who aren't used to the area. We just stay busy with whatever orders are on the desk that week. It is not a glamorous life, but we like the work. Most days, we’re just focused on finishing the current batch.
