Jubilee Engineers

Jubilee Engineers is located at Plot No. 274 inside the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you know the industrial estate, you know it’s a maze of similar-looking buildings and small lanes. Our spot is pretty much like the others around it, filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of heavy machinery. We have been working out of this unit for a while, and the floor has the stains to prove it. It’s a standard GIDC setup where everyone knows everyone else’s business because the walls are shared and the sounds carry. We start the day early to beat the worst of the afternoon heat, which can be brutal under the corrugated metal roof. There isn't a lot of room for a proper office, so we just have a small desk tucked in the corner where the paperwork stays mostly organized under a heavy paperweight so the fans don't blow it away. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It is just a few of us who know how to handle the gear and get the parts made. When the monsoon hits, we sometimes have to move things away from the door where the rain splashes in, but otherwise, it's just a steady grind. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the estate that day.
