Usha Indian Destination

Usha Indian Destination is located over in Alkapuri at the Centre Point building. We are up on the fourth floor, in unit 415. Being on R C Dutt Road means we are right in the middle of everything, which is convenient but also quite noisy at times. Our office isn’t anything fancy to look at. It’s just a place where we sit down and get things organized for people who want to see different parts of India. We spend a lot of time talking to hotel managers in other states and trying to get the details right. It’s easy to miss a small thing, so we have to be careful with the paperwork. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking email. We have been in this location for a while, and people in the area know where to find us. Sometimes folks just stop by to say hello or ask a quick question about a train ticket. We don't use any high-tech systems, just the usual computers and a lot of notebooks. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. The building has an elevator, which is good because four floors is a lot to climb every day. We usually start early and stay until the last booking is confirmed. It’s a lot of routine work, but it feels good when a trip actually happens without any major issues. Alkapuri is a nice place to work, even with the parking trouble.
