Being in an industrial estate like GIDC means the surroundings are mostly factories and warehouses. It is a loud and dusty place during the day with lots of machinery running and workers moving about. Our unit covers a few different numbers, so we have a fair amount of space for storage and operations. The sound of the temple bells often mixes with the industrial noise, which is a bit of a strange combination if you think about it. We usually start the day quite early to beat the heavy traffic that clogs up the Makarpura roads. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty focused on the work at hand. We deal with a lot of boxes and pallets, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the entrance. The staff often gathers near the temple during lunch breaks for a bit of fresh air and a change of scenery. It is a hardworking area and we fit right in with the rest of the businesses here.
