You can find Accord Communication Pvt. Ltd. at Plot No. 423 in the GIDC. It’s one of those big industrial zones where every turn looks like the last one. We’ve been in this specific plot for years. The building is just a plain concrete structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story with all the communication equipment and cables running everywhere. It’s a lot of technical work, but we keep it pretty casual among the staff. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. The GIDC can be a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment. The phone rings a lot, and there is always someone coming in with a question or a part that needs looking at. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the activity in the surrounding plots. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for tea and some snacks for the afternoon slump. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done. It’s just about keeping the lines moving and making sure the day goes smoothly without too many glitches. We leave the fancy talk to the people in the city offices. Here at Plot 423, we just focus on the work at hand.
