Bellan Phramaceuticals

We’ve been here at Plot No. 438-4 for a while now. The GIDC estate is usually busy and noisy, but you get used to it after a few years of working here. Mostly we spend our time checking batches and making sure the labels are straight on the bottles. It gets pretty hot in the summer inside the warehouse, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the sun really hits the roof. Our office is just a small room at the front with a couple of desks and a lot of paperwork piled up on every surface. We deal with various medicine formulations and suppliers coming in and out all day. Sometimes the courier truck is late, and we just sit around drinking tea and talking until it shows up. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We have a few people who have worked here since the start, and they know where everything is kept better than I do. Most of the time it's just about keeping up with the schedule and making sure the equipment is clean. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address on the gate. We’ve seen other shops in the estate come and go, but we just keep doing our thing here at Bellan Phramaceuticals. It’s quiet work mostly, unless the big machines are running.
