Travel Agency

Our office is in Bony Apartment, which is part of Arunoday Colony in Alkapuri. It’s a nice, established part of Vadodara. We’ve been running this travel agency from this location for quite some time now. It’s a small space, filled mostly with travel brochures and old calendars. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the travel business well. Most of our day is spent looking up train tickets, bus routes, and the occasional international flight. People in the colony often drop by just to ask about ticket prices or to see if we can help them with a passport application. We don't do anything too fancy. We just use the same booking systems as everyone else, but we take the time to actually look through the options. It can be a bit slow sometimes, especially when nobody is planning a trip, but then holiday season hits and we are working through our lunch breaks. There’s no big sign outside, just a small one by the door. We prefer it that way. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. We just try to be straightforward about the costs and the timings. It’s a quiet, local business and we plan on staying in Alkapuri for the foreseeable future. There is a small chai shop downstairs where we usually get our afternoon drinks.
