You can find us at D-9 in the Officers Colony over in Sultanpur. We are part of the Transport Corporation Of India and this is where we manage things for this district. It’s a pretty quiet area compared to the main market. The office is in a regular building and we have a few desks where we keep all the logbooks and records. Most of the day is spent talking to drivers and making sure they have the right directions for their trips. Sultanpur is a key stop for a lot of routes through Uttar Pradesh. We get a lot of trucks passing through and sometimes they stop here if there is a problem with the papers. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just maps and calendars. The staff here has been working together for years so we know how everyone likes their coffee. The windows are usually open to let in a breeze since it gets stuffy with all the paper files everywhere. We don't put out brochures or try to act like a big city firm. We just do the transport work that needs doing. Sometimes the phones ring all at once and it gets a bit chaotic but we handle it. The Officers Colony is a nice spot for an office because it’s easy for the staff to get to. We just show up, do the filing, talk to the transporters, and go home when the work is finished.
