You can find us at A/8 Saurabh Tenament, which is over in the Subhanpura area of Baroda. We are quite close to C.H. Vidyalaya School and right across from the Amin Part Plot. The office is really just part of the tenement house, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have got some computers set up and a few tables for people to work at. It is a place where people come to learn things and get some real practice in. We do not have any big signs or neon lights, just a small board outside so people know they are at the right door. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is usually quiet except when the school kids are heading home in the afternoon. We spend our days helping folks get a handle on different skills. Sometimes it is busy with three or four people all asking questions at once, and other times it is just one person quietly working on a task. We drink a lot of chai and keep the fans running during those hot afternoons. The space is not huge, but it works for what we do. We have been in this spot for a bit and the local people know us. It is a simple setup where we focus on getting the work done. No fancy furniture or anything, just the basics to help people. (246 words)
