Tourzguide

You can find us at Windsor Plaza, right on R C Dutt Road in Alkapuri. We are up on the fifth floor in room 509. Tourzguide is basically just a few of us working together to help people figure out their trips. Alkapuri is a busy part of Vadodara, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s more like a room where we keep all our files and brochures. People come in looking for advice on where to go, and we just tell them what we know. Sometimes we drink a lot of tea while looking at schedules. It’s funny how much planning goes into just a few days of vacation. We deal with all sorts of travelers, from students looking for cheap stays to older couples who want everything sorted before they leave the house. Most of our work is behind the scenes, making calls and waiting on hold. We try to be honest about what’s possible and what’s not. If a place is too crowded or a flight is likely to be delayed, we mention it. It’s better than having someone surprised later on. The office stays open pretty regular hours, but we often find ourselves still typing away after the sun goes down. It’s just part of the job. Being centrally located helps, though traffic on R C Dutt Road can be a real pain during rush hour.
