This office is located at 9 Shivam Society, right behind Rambaug Society in Petlad, which is in the Anand district. It is a small local branch for the newspaper. Things start very early here, often while most people in the neighborhood are still asleep. We get the bundles of papers delivered in the dark and then the work of getting them out to the readers begins. It is not a big corporate office with glass walls; it is just a house in a society that we use for the distribution and local news gathering. There are always bicycles and motorbikes coming and going in the morning hours. Inside, it is mostly desks piled with old editions and notebooks. We have a few people who handle the local advertisements and the distribution logistics. Petlad is a smaller town, so almost everyone knows where Shivam Society is. We do not really have a formal reception area; people just walk in if they need to place an announcement or talk about their monthly subscription. It can get a bit messy with all the paper around, and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. We have been part of this street for a long time.
