Being near Mother’s School means it gets a bit crowded in the mornings with parents dropping off their kids, but it’s a good landmark for people trying to find the office for the first time. We handle logistics, which basically means we spend our time worrying about where things are and how they’re getting to where they need to go. It’s a lot of phone calls to drivers and checking on shipments that are on the road. The office is just a regular place in the society. We have maps on the walls and clipboards hanging everywhere. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There are usually a few empty chai cups on the table by the afternoon and some papers scattered about. We work with all sorts of people who need stuff moved around. Some days it’s smooth and everything arrives on time, and other days everything seems to go wrong at once. We just handle it as it comes. We’ve been at this for a while now in Vadodara. The heat can be tough in the summer months, but we keep the fans on high and keep working.
