The Unique Mobile

We’re set up at number 10 in Damodar Society, which is right off Padra Road in Bibawewadi. It’s a decent area, mostly residential so we get a lot of families coming in with their kids' broken phones. We fix mobiles and sell some accessories like chargers, cases, and those little rings you stick on the back. The shop isn’t very big, so if three people come in at once, it feels crowded very quickly. We have a small bench where we do the repairs under a bright light. Sometimes the tiny screws get lost on the floor, and we have to spend ten minutes looking for them with a flashlight. We’ve been here for a bit now. People know us for being straightforward. We don't use a lot of technical talk; we just tell you if the screen can be saved or if you're better off getting a new one. The traffic on Padra Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we usually see more people in the mid-morning when it's quieter. We don't have a big fancy display, just some shelves we put up ourselves when we moved in. It’s a bit lived-in, but it works for us. My cousin helps out when I have to go pick up supplies from the distributor. We close on Sundays usually, unless there’s a lot of work backed up. It’s a simple shop and we just take it one day at a time.
