The Holiday Makers

The Holiday Makers is run out of 35/A Vishnukunj Society, which is tucked behind Rajesh Tower on Gotri Road. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time except when kids are playing outside. We spend our days looking at maps, flight schedules, and hotel bookings on our screens. It's a small team here in Vadodara. The office is basically a converted part of the house, so it feels very homey. You won't find any glossy brochures or big neon signs. We mostly talk to people over the phone or through emails, though sometimes a neighbor drops in to ask about a trip they want to take. Planning vacations for other people is a lot of work, and things often change at the last minute because of weather or delayed flights. We deal with all that stress so the people traveling don't have to. The desks are usually covered in sticky notes and printed itineraries. Gotri Road is a busy spot, so getting lunch is easy, though we usually just eat at our desks while we wait for travel agents to call us back. It’s a bit cluttered with travel guides and old folders, but we like it that way. We’ve been at this for a while now and know the local area quite well. It’s just a group of us trying to make sure people get where they need to go without too many headaches. We keep things simple and try to be honest about the costs. It's not a fancy agency, just us.
