Thakor Telecom

Thakor Telecom is basically just me and a couple of others working out of Flat 201 in the B Wing here in Vadodara. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. Most days we are just sitting at the bench fixing mobile screens that people dropped or trying to figure out why a battery won't hold a charge anymore. People come by when they need a quick recharge or if their phone is acting up. It's a small space, so it gets a bit crowded when more than three people walk in at once. We started this because we knew how to handle the hardware, and the location in the flat was what we could manage at the time. You will see tools lying around and boxes of spare parts everywhere because that is just how we work. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. We don't really do big advertisements. Mostly, it's just people from the neighborhood telling their friends that we can help them out. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers trying to get parts that aren't too expensive for the customers. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we stay late just to finish a repair for someone who needs their phone for work the next morning. It’s just a normal daily routine for us, nothing too special about it. We take our time with each job to make sure the phone actually works before the customer leaves.
