We are located in Hall 1/A on the second floor of Roopali Chambers. If you know where Shastri Bridge is, we are just a short walk from there. Working on the second floor means we get a decent view of the street, though mostly we just see the tops of buses and cars crossing the bridge. The building is an older one, so the lift can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but the stairs are solid enough for daily use. We do a lot of technical work involving communication lines and engineering setups. The office is usually cluttered with blueprints, old manuals, and various pieces of hardware we are testing. It’s not a very big space, but we’ve managed to fit all our desks and workbenches in somehow. The morning sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the blinds down until after lunch. It gets fairly quiet up here compared to the noise from the bridge traffic downstairs. We’ve been in this spot for several years, so the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks when he brings them up. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours about wiring diagrams or signal issues. It’s just regular work that needs to be done carefully. We lock up the chambers in the evening and head home like everyone else in the building. It is a simple life.
