Tata Indicom

Our group here at Tata Indicom is tucked away in Madhav Nivas, which is right behind Bharti High School in the Baranpura area of Baroda. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has a lot of character. We are located in the Jaisinghrao Paga section. If you are coming from the main road, you have to look closely for the school first, otherwise, you might miss the turn to get to us. We’ve been here for a long time. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and equipment sitting around. There are about four of us who are here every day. We usually start the morning with some tea from the stall down the street. It’s not a quiet place because of the school bells and the kids playing during their breaks, but we don't mind the energy. The rooms are a bit dark, so we keep the lights on even during the day. We don't have any big signs out front. People who need to find us usually know the way or they ask someone at the school gate. We just handle the local things that come up. It's a straightforward job and we like the people we work with. Baroda can get very hot in the summer, so we spent a lot of time trying to keep the place cool with fans.
