If you head down Ajwa Road and turn onto Road No-4, you’ll eventually see Sardar Estate. Sun Tej Technologies is located at Plot No.C-33. It’s one of those places that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking closely at the signs. The estate is full of small businesses like ours, so there’s a constant hum of activity. The gate to our plot squeaks a bit when it opens. We keep our space tidy enough, but it’s definitely a working environment. There are stacks of boxes in the corners and the sound of tools or computers depending on the hour. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if someone walks in, one of us just looks up from a desk to see what they need. It’s a practical setup. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, making it the warmest part of the day. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the businesses around us change. Some stay, some go. We just stay focused on what’s on our own plates. The traffic on Ajwa Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to leave as soon as the clock hits five. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life at the estate. We just do what needs to be done and try to keep things moving along smoothly.
