Sugam Telecom

Our place, Sugam Telecom, is out in Bodeli at Bharat Nagar. It’s a nice area, a bit quieter than the big city centers, but still plenty of people around during the day. We mostly do mobile recharges and sell small electronics. It’s the kind of shop where people stop by just to say hello on their way to the market. We have a small glass display for the handsets and a few pegs for cables and memory cards. The shop stays relatively cool because of the way the building is tucked in. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent talking to customers about which data plan is better or trying to find a specific battery for an old phone they don't want to throw away. Bodeli is a close-knit place, so we know most of the families in Bharat Nagar by name. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really need a big sign out front. The work is honest and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't do anything complicated here. It’s just about helping people stay in touch with their friends and family. It’s a humble little spot, and we like it that way. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who comes by with a story or a phone to fix.
