Subhiksha Mobile

Subhiksha Mobile is in Alkapuri, on the 2nd Floor of the building at 2nd Cross, Girinagar 1st Phase, FF/120. Being up on the second floor means we do not get as much random foot traffic as the shops on the ground level, but we have our regular customers who know exactly where to go. The stairs are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time when they are coming up. Inside, we have glass displays for the phones and a small wooden counter where we do the repairs. We do a lot of software updates and hardware fixes for older phone models that people do not want to throw away. The room is small and we have got a lot of spare parts stored in plastic bins on the shelves behind us. We use a couple of small stools for when we are working on a tiny circuit board under the light. The window looks out over the street so we can see the traffic while we work. It is a bit quieter up here than down on the main road, which is nice when you are trying to focus on a very small screw. We keep the place as clean as we can, but it is easy for things to get cluttered with all the cables and empty boxes. We have a small radio that we keep on in the background. Most of our day is spent fixing things.
