We split our time between the Kshatriya Society in Karodia Bajwa and the Welcom Hotel in Vadodara. It is a bit of a strange way to work, but it is just how things ended up for us. A12 is where we keep most of our records and do the quiet work. It is a residential area, so it is much calmer than the hotel. The hotel is where everything happens fast. We go back and forth quite a bit. Sometimes we are there for a few hours to check on things and then we head back to the society office. It makes the day go by quickly. We do not have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable for moving around. We are more about the practical side of service. If something is broken, we find someone to fix it. If a schedule is off, we try to straighten it out. We are not managers in suits; we are more like the people who make sure the managers have what they need. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls. We have known the people in Karodia Bajwa for a long time, so it feels like home. The commute can be a bit of a pain when the traffic is bad near the hotel, but we manage. We just take things as they come and try not to get too stressed.
