We are based inside the Shyam Theli Bhandar building over in Munshi Khancha. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot in Laheripura. We handle the bag trading side of things here. It's a shared space, so it gets a bit crowded with all the inventory piled up. We don’t have a big sign out front, so you kind of have to know where you’re going. Most of our day is spent counting stock and making sure the orders are right. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. The street outside is usually full of people and carts, which makes things interesting when we are trying to load up. We’ve been here for a good bit now. It’s a practical location for us since we are right in the middle of the local market action. We aren’t really into the whole corporate thing. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but we just keep working by the door where there’s light. We deal with a lot of different types of bags, from small ones to big ones. It’s mostly about knowing what people are looking for at the moment. We don't have a team of people, just a few of us doing the daily chores. Sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is heavy, but we manage. We just keep our goods covered up.
