Sana Bag Centre

Sana Bag Centre is over in Raopura, right near the GEB sub station. It’s an easy spot to point out to people because everyone knows where the sub station is. We have been operating out of this location for quite some time now. The shop is filled with bags of every description—backpacks for kids, suitcases for people going on trips, and handbags too. We keep a good variety so there is something for everyone who walks through the door. Raopura is a busy area, so there is always someone walking by. The shop is a bit small, so we have to use the walls and even the ceiling to hang things up. It gives the place a bit of a crowded feel, but it works for us. We don't bother with much decoration. The bags are the main thing. We spend our days talking to customers and helping them pick out something that will last. It is a plain, honest way to make a living. We know many of the families around here because they've been buying school bags from us for years. We see the kids grow up and then they come back for their own things. It is nice to be part of the community like that. We just stay here near the station and keep things going. The noise from the station is something we don't even notice.
