Gopal Opticals

Gopal Opticals is located on Palace Road, right on the main road in Dayal Bhaus Lane. We are directly opposite the Lal Court, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is quite old and filled with all sorts of frames and glass lenses. It is a bit of a tight space because we have so many boxes and displays. We have been here for many years, serving the people who walk through the busy market. Palace Road is always crowded with people and vehicles, so there is never a quiet moment. We spend our hours helping people try on glasses and fixing broken frames at our little workbench. It’s a hands-on job and we often have bits of wire and tiny screws scattered around. We don't have any fancy sales talk. We just show you what we have and let you decide. The Lal Court brings a lot of people to this street, so we see all kinds of faces every day. We know many of the other shopkeepers in Dayal Bhaus Lane and we often chat on the sidewalk. It’s a traditional kind of shop where we do things the way we always have. We don't need much more than our tools and a good light to work by. It’s just us here at Gopal Opticals. We keep the shop open until late because the street stays busy until the sun goes down.
