Baroda Belt House

We’ve been here at Baroda Belt House for quite a while now. If you head down New Road in Lehripura, you’ll find us tucked into Chokshi Bazar. It's a busy part of town, especially being right opposite Durgeshwar Mahadev Temple. Most days, we’re just busy dealing with whatever comes through the door. People know us for the belts, obviously. It’s a small place but it gets the job done. The morning starts with opening up the shutters while the temple bells are ringing across the street. It’s a nice way to begin the workday. We handle all sorts of stuff here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is in this market. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, though our spot remains pretty much the same. It's not fancy, just a regular shop where we keep things organized the best we can. Sometimes we have a lot of stock piled up, and other days it’s a bit quieter. We just take things as they come. If you’re walking past the temple, you really can’t miss us. We stay open late most evenings because there’s always someone needing something last minute. It's a living, you know? Just a local business trying to keep up with the pace of the bazaar. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us or hear about us from neighbors. It works out fine for everyone involved and we keep at it.
