Working at D/36 Gunatit Dham Society in Ataladara means things are usually moving pretty fast. This part of Baroda has grown a lot, and being at SSG Hospital keeps everyone on their toes. It is not like those quiet offices you see on TV. There are always people coming in through the gates looking for help or visiting someone in a ward. The hallways have that specific hospital smell, and the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. We spend a lot of time checking charts and making sure the supplies are where they should be. Sometimes the parking outside gets a bit messy because so many people come at once. The staff mostly knows each other by name, and we grab snacks from the local vendors during our breaks. It can be tiring, especially when the night shifts come around and the corridors get a bit dim. We don’t have much time for small talk, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. Living nearby makes the commute easy, though the traffic near Ataladara can be a headache in the evenings. The building itself has seen a lot of years, and you can tell by the marks on the walls. We just focus on the patients and the daily tasks that need doing before the next shift starts. It is a busy life here in Baroda.
