Srushti Navelty Store

Srushti Navelty Store is on the ground floor of the Shree Complex, specifically at shop number 13. We are right across the street from the Kachoriwalla in Raopura, which is a very popular spot. You can often smell the frying food from our doorway, which usually makes me hungry by midday. Our shop is filled with all kinds of things like toys, small gifts, stationery, and various household items. It’s a bit cluttered inside because we try to fit as much as possible into the small space. We have things hanging from hooks on the walls and stacked on the floor in the corners. My wife and I run the shop together, and we don't have any extra help. Saraswatinagara is a lively neighborhood, so we see a lot of families and school kids coming in. We don't use a computer for our sales; everything is written by hand in a large diary we keep under the counter. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because there is so much stuff packed in here. The floor is old tile and some of it is cracked, but it doesn't bother anyone. We've been in this location for a long time and have seen many other shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing, opening up every morning and staying until the market slows down at night. It’s just a basic local shop.
