We operate out of Plot No 474 in the GIDC Industrial Estate over in Makarpura. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly warehouses and workshops around us. We are near the income tax area, which is a landmark most drivers know. Indo Felt Pvt Ltd isn't some massive corporation with a glass skyscraper. We are right here on the ground, dealing with the day-to-day operations. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. We have some machines running most of the day. It gets loud, and the air smells like work. My desk is tucked in the corner of the main floor so I can see what’s going on. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come onto the floor. It’s practical and it’s how we’ve always done it. We have a small crew and most of them have been with us for a long time. We eat lunch together in the back breakroom. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually there until the sun goes down and the last truck leaves the gate.
