Sejal Handicrafts

Sejal Handicrafts is based in Bapau Sadan, right in the Sayajigunj area. We are located near Hotel Surya Palace and directly opposite the Parsi Agiari. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of history and old buildings around us. We spend our time working on different handmade items. Our space is filled with fabrics, threads, and all sorts of small bits and pieces. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of work going on at once. We didn't start this to become some huge company; we just really liked the traditional crafts and wanted to keep doing them. The lighting in our shop is a bit dim in the corners, but we have good lamps for the detailed work. People walking by to the hotel often stop in to see what we’re making. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us showing what we can do with our hands. Sometimes a project takes much longer than we thought it would, but we don't like to rush the finish. Sayajigunj is a good place for us because there's always something happening. We’ve been in this building for quite a while and the neighbors are all friendly. If you’re near the Parsi Agiari, you can’t miss us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the craft, making sure each piece is okay before it goes out. It's a quiet life but we enjoy the work we do every day.
