J. K. Florist

J. K. Florist is situated inside the Parsi Agiyari Compound in Sayagigunj. It’s a nice, quiet spot compared to the main road. Every morning, the place is filled with the scent of fresh roses and lilies. We start early, usually before the sun is even fully up, to get the flowers ready. There are petals on the floor and water everywhere from the buckets, but that’s just how a florist shop looks. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. It’s just us cutting stems and tying ribbons. People come into the compound for all sorts of reasons, and they often stop by to see what’s fresh today. Some days are really busy, like during the wedding season or festivals, and we barely have time to sit down. Other days are slower, and we just spend time cleaning the shop and making sure the plants are healthy. Sayagigunj is a busy area, but our little corner in the compound feels a bit different. We use simple tools, just some sharp scissors and twine. There’s no big corporate strategy here; we just try to keep the flowers from wilting and help people find what they like. It’s a simple life, surrounded by colors and smells, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. It isn't always perfect, but it works for us. We're usually here until quite late in the evening.
