Sorgen Inc.

Our place, Sorgen Inc., is located at L-197/1 in the Gidc area of Por-Ramangamdi. Since we are in an industrial zone, there is always the sound of machinery and trucks passing by outside. We have been in this unit for several years now. It is basically a workshop where we handle industrial parts and some manufacturing. It is not a clean or quiet environment, but that is the nature of the work we do. The floor is made of concrete and there is usually a bit of grease and metal shavings around. We have a small crew of workers who have been doing this for a long time. We do not have any fancy office furniture or air conditioning in the main area. We just have some big industrial fans to move the air around when it gets hot. Most of our work is for other companies in the Gidc who need specific parts made. We start very early in the morning, sometimes at six, so we can finish before the worst of the afternoon heat hits us. It is hard work and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift. We have a small corner with a table where we sit for our lunch break. It is a simple life here. We just focus on getting the orders out to our customers on time. The building is plain, but it works for what we need.
