Sonu Mobile

If you’re walking down Station Road, you’ll find Sonu Mobile inside the Karnavati Estate at unit D/1. Being so close to the station means there is always a sense of hurry around the shop. People are constantly rushing to catch their trains, and sometimes they pop in for a quick charging cable or a pair of earphones because they forgot theirs at home. The Karnavati Estate is a bit of a maze of different businesses, but D/1 is right there on the ground level. The shop itself is quite packed with stock, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk in. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The walls are covered in pegboards with all kinds of mobile gadgets hanging from them. Because of the location, it gets quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the display cases with a rag. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or try to push people into buying things they don't need. Most of our customers are just everyday people who need a quick solution for their phone problems. The light from the station signals reflects off our front window in the evenings when the sun starts to set. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to spend our days, and we wouldn't have it any other way than being right here in the middle of the action. Sometimes we even hear the train whistles from the counter.
