Sindha Amruta S

My spot is inside the Vadodara District Court Complex. I am on the first floor. It is part of the Balaji Complex building. If you have ever been to the court, you know how loud and crowded it gets. There are people everywhere, lawyers in black coats, and folks waiting for their cases. I am right in the middle of all that. My office is small, just enough room for me and a couple of people to sit. I deal with a lot of papers every day. The hallways are usually full of people talking or looking for different rooms. Being on the first floor is better than the ground floor because it is a little less dusty, but not much. I have a lot of files stacked up on the shelves. It is not a fancy place with carpets or expensive furniture. Everything is practical. I use an old wooden desk that has been around for years. I am Amruta, and I spend most of my day here from morning until the court shuts down for the evening. Sometimes I have to go to different floors to get things stamped or signed. It is a lot of walking. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is usually the best part of the afternoon. People come to me when they need help with their documents. I just do my job and go home. There is always someone new coming in with a problem to solve.
