Krishna Art Gallery

You can find Krishna Art Gallery over by the Harinagar Char Rasta, right where Gotri Road and Dandia Bazar meet. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We’ve got a lot of different things hanging up on the walls. It’s not a quiet, museum-type place. It’s more of a local shop where people come to look around and maybe find something for their homes. We spend a lot of time rearranging things to make room for new pieces. The floor is usually a bit dusty from people walking in off the street. We don't really have a philosophy or a grand vision. We just like art and wanted to have a place to show it in this part of town. The location at Harinagar Char Rasta is pretty convenient for people living in Gotri or around Dandia Bazar. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic while waiting for someone to walk in. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't wear suits or act like we know more than anyone else. If you like something, you like it. That’s how we see it. We've been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a lot of stuff in, but we make it work. Just a regular art gallery for regular people who want something nice to look at. We are glad to be here at the corner.
