Shubham

Operating out of Vadodra Central is a bit different than being on a regular street. There is always people walking past the front and the air conditioning is usually running which is nice in the summer months. We go by the name Shubham and we have been here for a while. Most of the folks who stop by are just regulars from the neighborhood or people who work in the other shops nearby. We keep the shelves stocked with whatever is needed that day. It gets pretty loud on the weekends when the families come out to walk around the mall. My brother and I take turns behind the counter. Sometimes we just sit and talk to the other shop owners about how the day is going. It is not a huge space but we make it work with what we have. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up in the back corner where nobody sees it. There is a small kettle in the back for making tea when it gets slow in the afternoons. We don't do much advertising or anything like that because most people just know where we are. If you are walking through Vadodra Central you will see us there. It is a decent spot to spend the day and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the place over the years. We just show up and do the work until it is time to close.
