Shree Uma Selection

Shree Uma Selection is located at shop number 1 in the Indrapuri Complex. We are right across from the Swati Bus Stop on the Old High Court Lane in Nizampura. Because the bus stop is so close, we get a lot of people wandering in while they are waiting for their ride. We sell ready-made clothes, mostly shirts and trousers for men and some items for children. The shop is narrow, and the walls are covered in shelves from the floor to the ceiling. I have to use a long reaching pole to get items down for customers, which can be a bit tricky when the shop is full of people. Nizampura is a very busy area, so there is a lot of noise and dust from the traffic outside. I’m usually dusting the shelves every morning to keep the clothes clean. I’ve been running this shop for about ten years now. It’s a one-man operation most of the time. I have a small chair behind the counter where I sit and read the newspaper when things are quiet. The walls are a bit plain, and we don't have any fancy decor or bright lights. We don't do any big sales or marketing campaigns. People just know we are here because of our location near the bus stop. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and I enjoy talking to the different people who stop by every day.
