We work out of F 9 in the Kalindi Apartment, which is quite close to the Race Course. It is a residential building, so it is a lot quieter than a typical office block. We like it that way because it helps us concentrate. The space is basically just a few rooms that we have turned into an office with some desks and chairs. We don't have a big sign on the door, just a small nameplate. It is a small group of us here, and we spend most of our time on computers working on different designs and ideas. Sometimes we have meetings around the kitchen table because it’s the biggest one we have. The balcony looks out over the street and we sometimes stand out there for a bit of fresh air. It feels more like a home than a workplace. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some jars of instant coffee in the corner. We aren't trying to act like a big company. We just do our work and try to come up with new things. Most of our visitors are people we have known for a long time. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the area is nice and green. We usually start our day a bit later than the shops and stay until the sun goes down. The internet router sits on a shelf near the window and sometimes we have to restart it when it stops working.
