Our office is at D-4, Jagannathpuram Complex, located on the Lalbaug Railway Crossing Main Road. It’s a very specific spot in Vadodara because of the railway crossing. You can hear the trains passing by throughout the day, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. The Lalbaug Road area is always moving, and being near the crossing means there is often a bit of a wait for traffic, so people sometimes stop by while they are waiting for the gates to open. The complex itself is older, and our office is a simple space where we manage all the travel bookings. We have a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the computer and answering the landline. It’s a busy environment, especially when the trains are frequent. We don't really do anything fancy here. We just help people with their travel plans and make sure they have their tickets ready. Sometimes we have to shout over the sound of a passing train, but that’s just part of the charm of this location. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the daily work. We like being in this part of town because it feels very connected to the rest of the city. It’s an honest living and we just take it one day at a time, making sure we handle the paperwork properly for everyone.
