Shree Bhariyadevi Mobile Shop

This shop in Por is where we spend most of our days. It’s called Shree Bhariyadevi Mobile Shop. We started it because everyone needs a phone these days, and there wasn’t a place to go right here in the village to get repairs done. We keep a decent stock of basic phones and all the cables you might lose or break. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of the wall space for all the covers and headphones. It can get pretty dusty with the road right outside, so we’re always wiping down the glass. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the basic repairs and sales. If someone comes in with a complicated software issue, we spend some time researching it on our own phones to see if we can help. We like chatting with the locals who stop by, even if they aren't buying anything. Sometimes they just want to know how to use a new app. We don't charge for the small advice. It's just part of being in Por. We try to keep our prices fair because we know everyone around here. We open up early and stay open until the last bus goes by. It's a steady life. We don't need much more than that. The sign outside is a bit faded, but everyone knows where we are.
