Shankar Packaging Limited

Our place is located in the GIDC industrial estate in Waghodia, occupying plots 2 through 6. It’s a pretty large area compared to some of the smaller shops around here. We handle a lot of packaging work, which involves big machinery and plenty of storage space for the finished goods. Being in a GIDC zone means we are surrounded by all kinds of factories, so the whole area is always buzzing with activity. We have a lot of people working on the floor, managing the machines and checking the bags or containers we produce. It’s a noisy environment, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the truck drivers who come in to load up the shipments. The office is located at one end of the building, and it's usually where the paperwork gets sorted out. We don't have anything fancy in there, just the basics like desks and a couple of old fans that struggle in the heat. The weather in Waghodia can be quite tough in the summer, so we try to keep the air moving as much as possible. Most of the staff lives in the nearby villages or in the city and commutes every day. We aren't doing anything flashy; we just focus on keeping the production lines moving so we can meet our deadlines. It’s a lot of routine, but we’ve got a good system going after all these years.
