Shanghai Trading Ltd

We are up on the sixth floor of the Times Square Building on C. G. Road. If you know where the Safire Building is, we are right across from that. The office is number 606. It’s a typical office space with desks and some old filing cabinets that probably need better organizing. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at invoices for the trading business. It can get a bit hectic when the shipments are moving, especially with all the paperwork that comes with it. The elevator in this building is often slow, so we end up waiting around in the lobby quite a bit. We’ve got a small window that looks out over the street, which is nice when the traffic isn't too backed up during rush hour. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling the day-to-day stuff. It isn't a high-end corporate setup, just a place where we get our work done. There are always boxes of samples sitting in the corners or under the desks. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes we lose a pen or forget where we put a specific file, but we manage to find it eventually. It’s just us doing the trading work, year after year. Most days are pretty much the same, filled with calls and checking on the status of orders. It’s a decent place to work and we’re right in the middle of everything. We've been here a long time now.
