Scrumbees Technologies

If you come by B-202 at Atlantis K10, you will probably see a bunch of us hunched over screens with headphones on. Being right across from Vadodara Central Mall is nice for lunch breaks, though the traffic on that road is a nightmare during the evening rush. We call ourselves Scrumbees Technologies, but it’s mostly just a few rooms filled with computers and old coffee mugs. Some days the internet acts up and we all just sit around talking until it comes back, which is frustrating but that’s how it goes. We do a lot of coding and fixing things that people broke on their websites. It’s quiet most of the time except for the sound of typing. We have some plants in the corner that mostly look like they need water, and the whiteboard is covered in scribbles that nobody remembers writing. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and try to get home before the mall traffic gets too bad. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food from downstairs. The air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise every afternoon around three, but nobody has bothered to call the repair guy yet. It’s a decent place to work and we all get along well enough without making a big deal out of it. Most of us just want to finish our tasks and get home for dinner.
