Sarthi Mobile

Sarthi Mobile is our little shop on R V Desai Road in Divya Nagar. It’s a busy road so there’s always the sound of scooters and horns in the background while we work. We set up here because it seemed like a good spot where people could drop off their phones on their way home. The shop itself is pretty basic with a tile floor and some metal racks for the phone covers. We keep a small television in the corner mostly for news or cricket when things are slow in the mid-morning. It’s mostly just us here, taking things apart and putting them back together. We don’t have a big team or anything corporate like that. If you come in, you’re talking directly to the people who do the repairs. We’ve got a lot of regular customers from the Divya Nagar area who stop by just to say hello even if they don’t need anything fixed. The light in here is a bit dim towards the back, so we use some extra desk lamps to see the tiny parts inside the phones. We try to be fair with what we charge and we don’t like to make things complicated. If it takes two days to get a part, we tell you it will take two days. We think being honest is the only way to stay in business on a road like this. It gets pretty dusty so we clean the glass every few hours.
