Sandlen Gift Corner

We are located over in the Vishveshwaraiah Industrial Area, right on the White Field Road in Fatepura. It’s an interesting spot for a gift shop because there are so many factories and warehouses around us. But workers and people passing through always need something for a birthday or a celebration, so we stay pretty busy. Sandlen Gift Corner is full of all sorts of things, from small trinkets to bigger items for the home. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes things get a little dusty if they’ve been sitting there for a while. We spend a lot of time unwrapping new stock and trying to find space for it. It’s not a big corporate store. It’s just a local place where you can find a card or a present without having to drive all the way into the city center. The traffic on White Field Road can get pretty intense, especially when the shifts change at the nearby plants. We’ve got a small counter and we do our own gift wrapping if people ask for it. Sometimes we run out of tape or the right colored paper, but we make do with what we have. It’s a simple business. We open up in the morning, see who comes in, and try to help them find what they’re looking for. It’s been our daily routine for a long time now. We like the regulars who come in and we know many of them by name. It's a nice way to spend the day.
